Spot Color Studio is a full-service creative agency that grew out of a basement. But it wasn’t a creepy basement. It had a computer, a chair, and a woman with a ton of creativity who was making her way through the bursting dot com bubble.

Nicole Weber started Spot Color Studio as a way to serve the marketing needs of various Portland businesses. She took her degree in Graphic Design and turned an amazing work ethic and commitment to customer service into a business that has grown every year for the past nine years.

Spot Color Studio provides marketing support for small to mid-sized businesses all over the country. We are the “doers,” the folks who turn your idea into something big…without the big agency fees. We keep things lean and honest, and pass the savings on to you.

Nicole Weber, Owner & Creative Director

Nicole has worked professionally as a graphic designer, art director and creative director for over 15 years. She has owned Spot Color Studio for the past 9. She works closely with her clients and team to art direct the creative, as well as oversee the day to day operations of the project. Over the years she helped to design, manage and implement thousands of print and online design projects for clients ranging from high tech, to consumer, to nonprofit as well as large government sponsored interpretive museums and exhibits.

Vince Rogers, CFO

Vince is our CFO and “go to guy”. He has the fun job of doing all the books, in addition to our general office requests…fixing computers, setting up phones, HR coordination, contract and policy writing…and mad dashes to market when we run out of coffee. Thanks Vince! When the office isn’t making requests, he can be found in his shop souping up his vintage scooters…those things aren’t really supposed to go 85 miles per hour, are they?

Caelan Huntress, Sales and Marketing Manager

Caelan Huntress is a sales trainer and a marketing expert. Caelan’s rich experience in marketing and sales means that he’ll take the time to find out how we can help you achieve your business objectives. With experience in social media, newsletter writing, lead generation, and fire juggling, Caelan’s unique blend of skills makes sure everyone is paying attention.

Matt Eckmann, Director of Development

Matt has over 13 years’ professional experience in application development and project management. He has coordinated an assortment of projects, from web applications and search engine optimization to print projects. He’ll work with you to keep your project on time and on budget. Matt loves swimming and golf, and is never happier than when he’s with his daughter. But he has been criticized for listening to exceedingly mellow music.

Kris Travis, Art Director

Kris has enjoyed life as a graphic designer in the Portland area for over five years. Since joining the Spot Color team in 2008, she has worked on hundreds of projects for Spot clients, including new business identity & branding, print collateral, museum display work, websites, email blasts and web advertising. Kris loves typography, traveling, hiking and camping throughout Oregon with her husband and two dogs, and trying as many of Portland’s awesome restaurants as she can afford.

Greg Dorr, Senior Developer

Greg has been working with Spot Color Studio for the past four years. As our senior developer he builds and deploys many websites. His knowledge spans everything from simple html sites to complex databases, shopping carts and CMS sites. When he isn’t working away at code, he is spending time with his wife and playing with his 3 young children.
